The Col­lege has a Coun­cil, which con­sists of the Prin­ci­pal and the Heads of all Depart­ments. The Col­lege Coun­cil meets fort­nightly or as and when there is some deci­sion mak­ing required, related to the activ­i­ties of the col­lege. The heads of the depart­ments form part of the Col­lege Coun­cil, which takes impor­tant deci­sions related to the aca­d­e­mic and other activ­i­ties of the col­lege. The HODs hold meet­ings with the fac­ulty mem­bers of the respec­tive depart­ment. Deci­sions are taken in con­sul­ta­tion with them. These deci­sions relate to the rou­tine aca­d­e­mic activ­i­ties such as com­mence­ment of classes, exam­i­na­tion sched­ules, conducting/​improv­ing lab­o­ra­to­ries, pur­chas­ing new equip­ments etc. These deci­sions are approved in the coun­cil meet­ings. In addi­tion to the above, the Prin­ci­pal holds gen­eral meet­ings with all the fac­ulty mem­bers as well. All these prac­tices ensure involve­ment of fac­ulty mem­bers in aca­d­e­mic affairs.
